Nature Nature Nature Nature feature an exciting blend of virtuoso didgeridoo playing by Henry Phineasa and flute, clarinet and percussion by David McBurney. As their name suggests, their music is inspired by and infused with the sights and sounds of nature. This ranges from the bird and animal calls that didgeroon is famous for to more subtle evocations ofthe spirit of the Australian bush. Henry is an indigenous Australian and was a formidable sportsman and didgeridoo player well before he lost his sight in his early teens. His relationship with the didgeroo started with lessons fromhis grandfather at age 7. David McBurney has also been playing music since he was young. He draws inspiration from his farm in the south of NSW. Their latest CD "escape" was recorded live without overdubs i.e. all bird and animal sounds are made by Henry on the didge so what you hear on the CD is what you hear when they play live.Their first CD "invitation" (a moodier and more ethereal recording) is also available.
