Cassy and The Bossa Beats
Cassy and The Bossa Beats have been playing around Sydney since October 1989 .Originally the band's repertoire was made up of Brazilian jazz music, with it's unique dance feels such as the samba and the bossa nova. The range of music that the band now performs has however expanded greatly to include music from Cuba, North American jazz, Blues and Funk, and original music.
The band's singer Cassy Darvall performs the songs in the language of their country origin; ie. Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French and English.The band consists of Piano, Bass, Drums, Saxophone and Vocals.The repertoire of Cassy and The Bossa Beats include music from Jazz and Blues, Latin, Contemporary.
