James Reyne

James Reyne is an iconic Australian rock musician and singer/songwriter, both as a member of the 1980's band Australian Crawl and through solo work.


Australian Crawl released some hugely popular songs such as "Reckless", "Beautiful People", "Errol", "The Boys Light Up", "Things Don't Seem", "Oh No Not You Again" and "Downhearted". Reyne went on to a successful solo career throughout the 1990's.

James has since released several successful solo albums and has also combined his talents with Darryl Braithwaite, Jef Scott and Simon Hussey to create the album Company of Strangers, which contained four top 100 singles.

Reyne has worked in television, hosting the music show 'Dig,' on ABC2 and appearing on The AFL Footy Show in Melbourne. James has also enjoyed some acting work, performing in the TV drama 'Return to Eden,' and in the movie 'What's Love Got To Do With It.'
