Cabaret
Tim Draxl In August 1998 Tim began a cabaret tour of his one man show "Journey to the Past", which has met with unanimous claim, playing to sold out horses.He was named the Face of Music for 1999 in Vogue magazine. In December 1998 Tim flew to America and played in six sell-out concerts at the famous Eighty Eights room in New York.During his time in New York he was also asked by legendary performer Andrea Marcovicci to join her on stage for two songs at the famed Aloquin Oak Room.Tim’s performance met with great praise, with the New York Post naming him "Cabaret Pick of the Week."In April 1999 Tim’s first CD, Ordinary Miracles was released nationally on Sony/Columbia, followed by a hugely successful tour. In July, Tim played the role of Arpad Laszio opposite Lisa McCune and Gina Riley in the concert version of "She Loves Me".This was followed by another trip to the US to perform in the New York Cabaret Convention and again at the Aloquin Oak Room, making him the youngest entertainer to perform there.He recently received a MO Award for Best New Talent.
