Moondance Moondance are versatile trio who cover 400 years of music in one night! Not only do they play extremely fast, they play extremely well! Medieval minstrel, classical string quartet, swing jazz combo, a little Rhumba, Australian and Celtic folk group or party dance band - Moondance does all this and more.

Wide experience in Jazz, [studied with George Golla and Ike Isaccs] Classical and Folk. Professional musician for over 15 years, has played extensively in Rock cover bands and Swing Jazz groups. Has done over 300 concerts for “Musica Viva” playing Australian Folk music. In 1994 Pete joined the ‘Bushwackers’ and was involved in the recording of two EP’s “Billy of Tea” and “Bushwacked”.Currently a member of Reel Matilda and Celtic folk group Moondance. Kathy Bluff - Violin and Vocals. After training at the Elder Conservatorium in Adelaide, Kathy played with the ABC training Orchestra. She then joined Newcastle based band “Castanet Club” and toured Australia and the Edinburgh Festival. Moving on to play with “The Happening Thang” which included a tour of Canada. Has since been working with "Chain of Hearts" and "Musica Viva". Currently a member of Reel Matilda- finalists in the Tamworth Battle of the Bush Bands 1997. Kathy also won Tamworth Bush Fiddler of the Year 1997. Kathy has an impressive command of several styles - Classical, Jazz, Folk and Popular with a repertoire to suit. Pete and Kathy have been working together as a duo specialising in minstreling for several years.With their wide repertoire and experience they can enhance the atmosphere of any occasion.
