Sondelle
The members of Sondelle are graduates from the NSW State Conservatorium of Music.Now freelancing in Sydney, they have at least ten years experience playing for functions in small chamber ensembles an have also held casual or full time positions with the major professional orchestras and professional shows in Sydney.
As classically trained musicians, they specialise in that style of music.They have a huge repertoire of exquisite classical music, including many famous themes and works by the great composers.
String Trio - The Sondelle String Trio consists of Flute, Violin (or Viola) and Cello and is always a very popular choice.The string trio is the longest established of the groups
String Quartet - The fuller harmonies of four players (Flute, Violin, Viola and Cello) make this group the most popular choice of clients.The group has access to the enormous string quartet repertoire so finding that special request is much easier.
Quintet - With the addition of double bass, the quartet becomes a quintet with a good selection of lighter music, such as Venetian waltzes, jazz, popular songs, Joplin and Gershwin, film and songs and 30’s dance band music. The quintet play for 1 hour, with the rest if the call time performed by the quartet
Flute and Guitar - These two very popular instruments blend beautifully to become a charming ensemble, which is ideal for smaller functions.Access to a power point is required for amplification of the guitar.
