Whether he is ‘Master of Ceremonies’ at a three-day conference, ‘Compering’ an awards presentation, creating a ‘Hoax Character’ at a seminar or performing his Cabaret show at a Gala dinner, Martell stands alone as the consummate professional!
He is the only Australian performer to have been voted Comedian of the Year at the ‘Australian Variety Artists Mo Awards’ on eight occasions. Two of which were the ‘gold’ award for Comedy performer of the Year.In 1997 the Variety Club of Australia presented Martell their Heart Award for comedy.
