Denise Scott has been treading the boards since the 1980's, and has appeared on Australian TV since the 1990's.  It is this wealth of experience that makes her one the country’s strongest live comic performers.  With her blend of personal stories and keen observation, Denise has the wonderful skill of making people laugh.

Denise received a Barry Award nomination for Best Show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival for her sold out festival hit, Scotty and Son. She received a second nomination the following year for Denise Scott Gives Good Council.

Denise gained broadcasting experience with the breakfast radio show for Vega 91.5 in 2006.

Playing a core part in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow, Denise toured in regional towns all throughout Australia and even performed in Singapore on 2008.

Not one to rest on her laurels, Denise has also written a book, “All That Happened at Number 26”, a memoir relaying various amusing tales of moving into a house with her husband, his circus equipment, a king-sized futon sans base, a Ventolin inhaler (to cope with stress-induced asthma), no savings and a newborn baby.

Following the success of the book, Scotty turned into a stage show, “Number 26”, and garnered rave reviews in Melbourne and Sydney.
