Whistle up the Drover’s Dog. This up-market Australiana band will play all the traditional hits, e.g. Waltzing Matilda, Road to Gundagai, Click go the Shears and Wild Colonial Boy etc. They will also throw in some jigs and reels, and even a couple of bush dances, like the Heel and Toe Polka, and the Drongo.
The band comprises Justin McCoy on Guitar and vocals and Bernadette McCoy on Violin (founding members of Hat Trick and Highly Strung), Rob Dearlove on Lagerphone and vocals, and Tamworth’s Bush Musician of the Year Paul Burjan on Whistle and Flute.
This experienced ensemble has a large repertoire of tunes from other countries as well, so your international guests will be well catered for.
