Jazz
Adrian Cunningham Adrian has made a big impact on the Sydney jazz scene over the past few years. ... and no wonder - having studied with the Award winning clarinettist Eddie Daniels in the USA, and completing an honours degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, his proficiency on saxophones, clarinet, flute and piano is plain to hear. He has worked alongside a host of musicians that read as a who's who of Australian Jazz - Don Burrows, James Morrison, Monica Trapaga, Galapagos Duck and Emma Pask. With performances overseas in places as diverse as New York, Japan, Indonesia and Africa, Adrian has brought the world to his music with a jazz style as beautiful and unique as Sydney itself. His trio and quartet are comprised of the cream of Sydney's jazz players and his eclectic repertoire covers all forms and styles of the jazz idiom - from traditional classics to latin rhythms and contemporary jazz funk.
