Website Design by Peter Inglis		Jazz Darren Heinreich Darren is a Jazz Pianist with nearly 20 years of experience as a freelance musician. While still at school he was awarded Runner-Up in the ABC Young Composers Competition, and was recently awarded the Jacek Chrostowski Encouragement Award for Jazz Piano. He has led jazz quartets on two extended tours to the Middle East. He has toured Australia and New Zealand with major label recording artists Marcia Hines, Steve Prestwich and Kenny Lopez Havana Connection. Versatile across many styles of music, he regularly performs on piano and organ, playing Jazz, Blues, Funk, Latin, Rock and Soul. He has recorded with trumpeter Todd Hardy, vocalist Ruth Wilson, Sydney outfit ‘ePOC’, alongside his own CD recorded with his trio. He has appeared at Major festivals and venues including the Byron Bay Blues Festival, Darling Harbour Bacardi Festival of Latin Music, Art On The Rocks Festival, The Side-On Cafe and The Basement. Darren is currently enrolled at Sydney Conservatorium as a 2nd year BMus student with a Distinction average.
