Jazz
Lucinda Peters Lucinda Peters has a starry voice with classic good looks. Accompanying herself on the double bass she has an original approach to well-known jazz repertoire as well as her own material. Lucinda performs vocal music in the jazz styles of Ella Fitzgerald, Edith Piaf, Sarah Vaughan, Duke Ellington. She describes the inspiration of the artists she most admires as giving her 'permission to be myself'. "When I've been really inspired by a performer it's because they have really opened to the audience, and really given something of who they are". "Singing is something that I have to do." she says.
