Venus Show Band

Venus is a highly polished act that has the flexibility to read the audience and tailor a set list to suit the people and atmosphere with audience participation a must.  The Venus girls are fresh faced and youthfully vibrant performing fun, sharp, polished routines throughout the show.

Venus places a strong emphasis on percussion including Congas, Steel Drums, Bongos and various percussion instruments for audience participation.  Brass and Growling Trumpet add extra bite to The Venus Sound.

Venus covers all genres of music and shows include themes such as

• Beyonce/Motown
• Swing/Chicago
• African/Reggae/Percussion
• Australiana

The Venus program includes a professionally choreographed costumed themed show, followed by later dance sets designed to get the dance floor jumpin!

The core members of Venus have graduated from N.I.D.A. The Sydney and Newcastle Conservatorium of Music and ED5 International Performing Arts. And have been performing this line-up for 8 years.

The Venus Show Band is a six piece line-up and consists of 3 Female front Singer/Dancers and 3 Male Multi Instrumentalists and Vocalists including Trumpet/Brass/Guitar/Keyboards and Percussion.
