The group’s leader is Mark Taylor who is one of Australia's leading saxophone talents. In high demand as a soloist and freelance musician across the broad spectrum of the Australian music industry, Mark has performed and recorded in Australia and Internationally with many leading entertainers, and is noted for his work internationally in the jazz and pop music fields as a featured soloist with such stars as James Morrison, Cliff Richard, Lou Rawls, Cleo Lane, Olivia Newton-John, Barry White, Neil Sedaka, Tom Burlinson, John Farnham, Doug Parkinson and more. He has also performed in almost every show to play in Sydney.
In 1990, Mark formed one of Sydney’s very popular jazz groups - Taylor Made Jazz. This is one of Sydney’s very popular jazz groups boasting some of Sydney's leading jazz performers. They can range from a duo, right up to eight piece playing a blend of traditional and more contemporary jazz and bebop standards, combined with popular ballads and classic Brazilian Bossa Novas form the basis of the Trio’s performance.
